Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support multiple school sites across the United States. You will engage in ethical, student-centered behavior support, supervise RBTs, and collaborate with site-based staff to implement FBAs and IEP/BIP processes.

This is an hourly, non-exempt role with flexible placements. Scoot Education emphasizes professional growth, supportive supervision, and respectful caseload management to ensure high-quality educational experiences

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Active BCBA certification through the BACB.
• Commitment to ethical, collaborative, student-centered behavior support.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and collaborate on IEP and BIP development.
• Provide modeling, coaching, and collaboration with site-based educators and staff.
• Supervise Scoot-employed RBTs (in-person supervision preferred).
• Observe and communicate across varied environments, indoor and outdoor.
• Support medically fragile or high-behavior situations and assist safely.

Hourly Pay Range:

$55.00 - $70.00

Role Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
• Active BCBA certification through the BACB
• Commitment to ethical, collaborative, student-centered behavior support
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferred

What that looks like in practice:

• Ethical, sustainable supervision models that prioritize quality over volume
• Clinical support from a practicing BCBA Coordinator and a dedicated Scoot Consultant
• Advocacy for reasonable caseloads, schedules, and professional integrity

What You’ll Do:

• Responsibilities vary by placement and are aligned with you experience and preferences. Depending on assignment, you may:
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and collaborate on IEP and BIP development
• Provide modeling, coaching, and collaboration with site-based educators and staff
• Supervise Scoot-employed RBTs (In-person supervision preferred; virtual supervision may be considered depending on placement)
• Comfortable working with medically fragile/high behavior situations
• Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students
• Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings
• Additional role requirements will be in the handbook and shared during the interview process
