Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support multiple school sites in California. This hourly, non-exempt role offers flexible placement and strong clinical support to help you grow while maintaining ethical practice.

We provide weekly pay, paid training, rapid onboarding, and ongoing support from a BCBA Coordinator and Scoot consultant, with a focus on collaborative, student-centered behavior support across districts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field is required.
• Active BCBA certification from BACB is required.
• Experience collaborating on IEP/BIP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments and collaboration on IEP/BIP creation.
• Model and coach site-based staff.
• Provide supervision to Scoot RBTs.

Hourly Pay Range:

• Weekly pay via direct deposit
• Paid state-mandated training
• FREE onboarding (we pay for your background check up front, not reimbursement needed)

• Ongoing support designed for BCBAs, by people who understand ABA
• The role is non-exempt. Actual pay is hourly and based on hours worked

What You Will Do

Depending on your placement you may be asked to do one or more of following. We would work with YOU to learn your preferences.

• Functional Behavioral Assessments and collaboration on IEP/BIP creation
• Modeling and coaching for site-based staff
• Supervision of Scoot RBTs (In-person preferred, but virtual supervision may be considered)

What You Will Need

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
• Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Commitment to collaborative, student-centered behavior support
• Experience working with school-aged children is a plus
