Job summary

Lighthouse Autism Center in Illinois is seeking a BCBA to lead individualized programming focused on communication, independence, and self-advocacy. You will conduct intake evaluations, design behavior-analytic plans, and supervise ABA technicians in a supportive, trauma-informed setting.

The role offers a realistic caseload, no nights or weekends, flexible schedules including some work-from-home days, and ongoing training with a strong mentorship program.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA credential.
• Eligible to supervise RBTs.
• 2–3 years ABA experience with various ages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake evaluations including functional behavioral assessments and skills assessments.
• Design positive behavioral treatment and skill acquisition plans with goals tailored to the individual.
• Supervise and train ABA technicians; implement, model and monitor progress of plans.
• Provide family conversations to ensure parents understand results and recommendations.

Your Key Tasks

• Conduct intake evaluations including functional behavioral assessments and skills assessments
• Design positive behavioral treatment and skill acquisition plans with goals tailored to the individual
• Supervise and train ABA technicians; implement, model and monitor progress of individualized behavior support and skill plans with ABA technicians
• Provide caring support during family conversations to ensure parents fully understand assessment results and treatment recommendations

Requirements

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
• Eligible to provide supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)
• 2 to 3 years of experience in ABA field, working with a variety of ages.
• Able to communicate expressively and receptively for all responsibilities within the job role.
