Job summary

New Patterns ABA in Florida is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our compassionate team and lead behavioral assessment and treatment for children.

You will develop and implement individualized plans, supervise staff, and train families through parent training sessions. The role emphasizes flexible hours to meet client needs and close collaboration with our clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Must hold BCBA certification and be registered/eligible.
• Experience with ABCs, FBA, and behavior intervention plans.
• Strong communication with families and school staff.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Assess functioning using standardized tools, FBA, and functional analyses.
• Develop detailed assessments, goals, and programming for clients.
• Provide coaching and supervise program implementation.
• Develop and monitor data collection across programs.
• Conduct parent training on treatment goals meaningful to families.
• Collaborate with Clinical Supervisor and Director in leadership meetings.
• Offer flexible hours to meet client needs.

Job description

New Patterns ABA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. As a BCBA, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of behavioral disorders in children. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized behavioral treatment plans to promote positive behaviors and improve overall quality of life.

Your responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Assess levels of functioning through specific standardized assessments as well as Functional Behavioral Assessments and Functional Analyses.

• Develop meaningful and detailed assessments, treatment goals and programming to address the needs of each client.

• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff while overseeing implementation of programs with clients.

• Develop and monitor data collection for all programs being run.

• Conduct Parent Training on specific treatment goals that are meaningful to the family.

• Respond to parental concerns regarding programming and/or staffing issues by investigating, gathering information and reporting the the assigned Clinical Supervisor for resolution.

• Have flexible hours to be responsive to client needs.

• Communicate with The Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director on a regular basis and through monthly Leadership meetings and Supervision meetings.
