Job summary

BMW Mini of Allentown is seeking a Genius to provide clients with comprehensive product information and demonstrations throughout the ownership experience. This is not a sales role; focus is on customer interaction and product expertise.

You will engage with guests in person and by phone, translating technical concepts into understandable terms, and help promote the BMW/Mini brand. Training will be provided; strong communication and a passion for automotive excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Tech savvy and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in hospitality, customer support or consumer electronics is a plus.
• 1 year in upscale, retail, or customer-centric environments preferred.

BMW Mini of Allentown has a unique opportunity available to join in the automotive industry.

A Genius provides clients with comprehensive product information throughout the ownership experience. This is not a sales position.

Instead, your focus will be customer interaction and product demonstration. Unlike a traditional sales role, our Genius is a product expert and customer service-oriented position. We currently have openings at our location for BMW Genius or Mini Genius. MINI, a British automotive brand, has been owned by BMW Group for over 20 years - a powerful partnership, marked by German engineering, that's brought us to new heights of MINIness.

Given the complexity of today's cars, BMW and Mini Geniuses are customers' go-to advisors for product understanding before, during, and after each purchase.

Requirements

• You must be tech savvy
• Hospitality, technical customer support, and/or consumer electronic experience a plus.
• Must be patient and able to communicate in non-technical terms with clients who have very little technical knowledge.
• Comfort in interacting with clients via phone and in person.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; specifically when communicating by email.
• 1 year in upscale, retail, or customer- centric environment preferred
• Absolute passion about all things BMW or Mini ; promote high quality brand image.
• Ability to multi task
• When applicable , factory training must be successfully completed
• This position receives hourly pay with fast advancement
