Job summary

EMCOR Group in New York is seeking an experienced Sales Manager for Building Management Systems (BMS) to lead regional sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and manage key client relationships. The role collaborates with consulting engineers to deliver customized temperature control and EMS solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in BMS/HVAC sales, a strong track record meeting targets, and proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office. Travel to client sites and industry events is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a BMS-related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BMS, HVAC, or temperature controls sales.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and engage new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with Consulting Engineers on developing control specifications leading to opportunities.
• Present tailored temperature control and energy solutions to meet client needs.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutual satisfaction.
• Collaborate with technical Sales teams to create proposals and ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to senior management.
• Conduct technical presentations with your Sales team to perspective clients, consulting engineers, GC’s and mechanical contractors.
• Conduct monthly Sales meetings with the Sales team to review the pipeline, financials and project close ratios.
