Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. in New York City seeks a BMS Systems Engineer to join our team.

You will produce drawings, sequences of operation, and bills of material; develop BMS software databases; and support network migration for BACnet/Modbus platforms, ensuring accurate on-site implementation and commissioning. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in EE/ME/CE/Math/Physics and at least four years in HVAC/controls, with AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Outlook, and WebCTRL experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, ME, CE, Math or Physics.
• 4+ years experience in HVAC/controls.
• DDC programming with BACnet/Modbus preferred.
• AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency.
• WebCTRL experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings, sequences of operation, and bills of material for submittals.
• Develop BMS software databases (programming/graphics) per specs.
• Design, integrate, and support network migrations (BACnet/Modbus).
• Maintain on-site commissioning and field support.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with engineers/technicians.
