Job summary
Clarios is seeking a Battery Management Systems (BMS) Lead Engineer in Plymouth, MI to coordinate development of BMS based on product requirements. You will lead HW/SW interfaces, define safety concepts, and oversee architecture through engineering cycles, while serving as the main customer interface during quotes, development, and product launches.
The role requires automotive controls experience, strong product development planning, and knowledge of ISO 26262/ASPICE.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Solid years of experience in automotive control units.
- Solid experience with automotive product development.
- Solid experience in product development planning.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate BMS development based on customer requirements and system needs.
- Lead customer communications for review and approval.
- Plan and monitor development progress to align with milestones.
- Coordinate with HW/SW teams to align program milestones.
- Support QM processes and ensure documentation traceability.
