Job summary

Clarios seeks an experienced technical leader to guide multi-program battery systems from concept through design verification. You will define system architecture, oversee cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE across organizations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of industry experience and a track record in leading rigorous system analyses, DFMEA reviews, and supplier collaborations to deliver robust energy storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with extensive industry experience (15+ years)
• Master’s degree in related field with extensive industry experience (preferred)
• PhD from a technically rigorous program and institution (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-program System Teams to review customer specifications, industry standards, and internal guidelines.
• Guide validation planning in automotive functional safety and ASPICE processes.
• Define system architecture and interfaces for battery components using model-based methods.
• Approve system specifications and design of mechanical, electrical, software, and electronics components.
• Develop supplier relationships to generate component specs and perform make vs. buy analyses.
