Job summary

Form Energy is seeking a Lead System Integration Engineer to bridge BMS hardware and software, ensuring PCBA designs and embedded modules meet system requirements. You will own the integration lifecycle and drive architecture coherence for the 100-hour iron-air energy storage system.

Relocation assistance is available. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, establish ICDs/HSI, and guide validation with HIL and test beds, while promoting V-model/ASPICE processes and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems engineering or technical lead roles.
• Experience with BMS and multi-disciplinary integration.
• Strong ability to translate requirements into specs.
• Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
• Excellent technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate BMS hardware and software integration for seamless performance.
• Decompose system requirements into traceable specs for hardware/software.
• Define ICDs and HSI definitions for clear interfaces.
• Develop validation plans including HIL and integration tests.
• Lead DFMEA and CFMEA to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate across Design, Test, Validation to resolve interface issues.
• Promote V-model and ASPICE workflows and mentor juniors.
