Amentum seeks an Industrial Building Systems Operator (BSO) for our Pearl River, NY client site. The role focuses on operating, monitoring, and maintaining the Building Automation System and HVAC equipment in a pharmaceutical setting.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to alarms, coordinate with contractors and security, and maintain logs. The position requires 12-hour shifts, strict safety adherence, and the ability to pass background and medical screenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of experience as Building System Operator or HVAC maintenance in industrial setting.
• Ability to pass TB test and medical evaluation for respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control Building Automation System (BMS/BAS).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Respond to alarms and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Document events, logs, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and security for safe operation.
