Qualifications

• Proficiency in control theory and building automation systems.
• 5 years HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience.
• Clear communication of system status to technical and non-technical personnel.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve faults and inefficiencies.
• Attention to detail in monitoring parameters.
• Ability to work with facility management, technicians and contractors.
• HVAC or related certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with BMS platforms such as Trane, Honeywell, Siemens, or Schneider Electric.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate BMS to ensure proper operation of HVAC, lighting, electrical, and fire safety systems.
• Perform diagnostics and coordinate repairs with maintenance team.
• Respond to alarms and faults, investigate causes, and escalate as needed.
• Generate reports on system performance and energy usage.
• Assist in upgrades and configuration of BMS settings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support to facility teams and occupants.
• Act as first point of contact in BMS emergencies and restore operations.
