Job summary

Amteck is hiring a BMS/EPMS Project Manager reporting to the VP of Electrical Service. This role leads end-to-end delivery of building automation projects, from design through handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality execution across multiple stakeholders.

You will oversee BMS design reviews, installation, commissioning, and FAT/SAT/IST, coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and vendors, and manage project financials, risk, and safety compliance while delivering

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of project management experience in construction or building services, with strong BMS/control systems background.
• Deep technical knowledge of BMS platforms (Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls Metasys) and HVAC systems; understanding of control logic and integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls) preferred; PMP, PRINCE2, or BMS certifications (BCIA) advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; excellent organizational and time-management abilities; problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: define scope, objectives, and deliverables; develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Technical Oversight: oversee BMS design reviews, installation, commissioning; ensure compliance with specs and codes; integrate BMS with other systems.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: primary contact for clients, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers; manage vendor selection and contract negotiations.
• Risk & Quality Management: identify risks and implement mitigation plans; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Testing & Handover: lead FAT, SAT, IST; manage closeout and handover to operations with proper documentation.
• Financial Management: oversee project financials, cost control, forecasting, change orders, and billing support.
