Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a Facilities Engineer to maintain and improve the BMS system to meet current and projected customer, business and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on people, equipment, and standards gatekeeping within a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in engineering with HVAC/utilities troubleshooting in pharma/biotech settings, plus strong Siemens BMS and SAP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering and HVAC/utilities troubleshooting experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.
• Knowledgeable in Siemens BMS - Insight & Siemens Historian – InfoCenter; Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Proven project management experience and ability to plan, organize and execute across functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans to maintain and improve the BMS system.
• Develop IA project ideas and prepare PPM submittals.
• Schedule and execute plans in coordination with operations.
• Support IA projects and process improvement plans.
• Develop and maintain system documents, including specifications and maintenance plans.
• Coach and train Facility Engineers and Facility Maintenance Technicians.
• Apply LEAN tools in problem solving, project and change management.
• Coach and train users of the BMS.
