Job summary

Boyne Mountain Resort is seeking a Snowflake Lounge Supervisor to lead a team of bartenders in our lounge. You will supervise, train, and schedule staff while ensuring exceptional guest service and beverage operations.

The role also involves inventory, financial reporting, and collaborating with other outlets to maintain cleanliness and efficiency. Strong communication and POS familiarity are required; evenings, weekends, and holidays are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience.
• Experience supervising a team in a service setting.
• Experience with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bartenders and assist with drinks service.
• Ensure outlet cleanliness and maintain equipment.
• Complete and report biweekly inventory.
• Prepare, report and review monthly financials.
• Schedule staff.
• Supervise 5–12 team members to ensure consistent service.
• Interview, hire and mentor staff; coach as needed.

As a Snowflake Lounge Supervisor you are responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of team members in a bar/lounge setting. Responsibilities

The Snowflake Lounge Supervisor's typical job functions include:

• Working directly with team members as bartender to mix and serve drinks to patrons


• Ensuring cleanliness and maintaining outlet and equipment


• Completing and reporting biweekly inventory


• Preparing, reporting and reviewing monthly financial reviews


• Scheduling staff


• Supervising 5-12 team members to ensure consistent and efficient service to guests


• Interviewing, hiring and mentoring team members, motivating and educating staff and coaching team members when necessary

Qualifications

This position might be for you if:

• You are 18 years old


• You possess an Associate's Degree or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience and or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience


• You have general knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Publisher


• You have experience with Point of Sale software


• You have previous supervisory experience


• You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays


• You enjoy working with others and creating memorable experiences for guests
