Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Hospital Distribution Technician to receive, prepare and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood products. You will inspect products for accuracy and professionally deliver them to hospitals and partners in a company vehicle.

You will communicate order fulfilment times, maintain service records, and monitor storage and equipment. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid in-state driver’s license.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood products.
• Conduct visual inspection of products prior to shipment for order accuracy.
• Deliver products to Vitalant customers in company vehicle.
• Communicate order fulfilment times and product availability to customers.
• Maintain accurate hospital service records and process fees.
• Monitor storage conditions, equipment, and vehicle work areas.
