Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Hospital Distribution Technician to manage inventory and facilitate packaging and shipment of blood products to hospitals and patients. You will receive, inspect, and ship orders and communicate status to customers from Albuquerque, NM.

Starting pay is $18.27–$19.06 per hour with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401K match, tuition assistance, and time off. Training is provided, with on-call rotation every six weeks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months of customer service experience required.
• Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products.
• Conduct a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy.
• Deliver products to Vitalant customers in a company vehicle and communicate fulfillment status.
• Maintain accurate hospital service records and monitor storage requirements and equipment.
