Your impact as a Hospital Distribution Technician is vital. You will support Vitalant’s life‑saving mission by receiving, preparing, and shipping routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products. You will conduct a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy. You will use a Vitalant vehicle for part of your shifts to transport blood and blood product to hospitals and partners. Whether you are just starting your career, or new to the blood banking industry, we’re here to train, mentor and help you grow.
Professionally and safely deliver products to Vitalant customers in company vehicle. Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability. Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees. Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas.
Work Shift (if applicable): Shift 1 (United States of America)
Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm Mon - Fri + On-call Rotation every 6 weeks.
Starting Pay: $18.27 - $19.06
