Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Ohio is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead the donor collection team. The role ensures on-time delivery of work, coaching staff, and quality of team deliverables while maintaining compliance.

The candidate should possess phlebotomy expertise, strong customer service, and the ability to train and mentor staff. Knowledge of automation and safety protocols is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; health care certification preferred.
• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience preferred; more years acceptable for higher responsibilities.
• Ability to learn Ceridian, Hemasphere, Oracle and HemaTerra systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor collection team and coordinate daily activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance of team deliverables.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to Donor Specialists.
• Build donor relationships and ensure excellent donor experience.
• Perform phlebotomy and manage automation equipment as needed.
• Maintain site readiness, safety, and equipment maintenance.
