Qualifications

• NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or eligible with provisional/limited permit eligibility.
• MT (ASCP) Certification or equivalent preferred; Blood Bank experience is valued.
• Proven experience with Blood Bank testing and immunohematology workflows.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and quality control practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform Blood Bank testing and routine test analyses in a high-complexity environment.
• Adhere to departmental policies and quality control procedures consistently.
• Review final test reports and generate all necessary documentation.
• Assist supervising staff in teaching medical technology students.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards and regulations affecting the lab.
