Stony Brook University Medical Center's Core Laboratory is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for the Day Shift. You will perform high complexity coagulation and chemistry tests, maintain instruments, and ensure quality control in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires NYS licensure or eligibility, a strong background in hematology and chemistry, and ASCP certification preferred. This full-time position includes weekend/holiday work and offers comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• NYSDOH licensure or eligibility as Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Strong background in hematology and chemistry with relevant experience.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform high complexity coagulation/chemistry testing using manual and automated methods.
• Maintain instrument performance and conduct routine maintenance per protocols.
• Adhere to quality control policies and procedures and interact professionally with staff.
