Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Blending department in Springdale, AR. The role oversees production line operations and staff on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am), ensures policy compliance, and coordinates with Maintenance, QA, Customer Service, and Warehouse to fulfill orders.

You will lead safety meetings, implement procedures, monitor HACCP and GMPs, and ensure smooth shift execution while addressing operational issues promptly.

• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule personnel to meet production requirements.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings.
• Conduct health & safety meetings with hourly staff.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Implement and train staff on scanning system.
• Implement, monitor and enforce company procedures.
• Monitor HACCP and plant sanitation.
• Complete daily production reports and schedules.
• Attend daily production meetings and plan production.
• Monitor production activities in blending and packaging.
• Complete daily checklists and security procedures.
• Act as Food Defense Coordinator and conduct food security audits.
• Record employee hours/attendance.
• Respond to inquiries from customer service and shipping about orders.
• Contribute to successful audits by corporate and governing bodies.
