Job summary

The company in Springdale, AR is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the blending line and staff on the 11pm–7am shift. You will ensure compliance with policies, schedule personnel, and coordinate with maintenance, QA, customer service and warehouse to fulfill orders.

You will lead safety meetings, maintain GMPs, review reports, and drive improvements in production efficiency, quality, and alignment with audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer literacy and reporting skills.
  • Previous supervisory coursework or training.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule personnel to meet production requirements.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and uphold GMPs.
  • Monitor HACCP program relating to blending & packaging.
  • Complete daily production reports and production planning.
  • Attend daily production meetings and coordinate with Maintenance, QA, and Warehouse.
  • Respond to inquiries from customer service & shipping regarding orders.

Job Summary

Supervises production line operations and employees to fulfill customer orders. Ensures that all employees comply with company policies, procedures and standards. Maintains smooth production during work shift and promptly resolves all related problems. Works cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Customer Service and Warehouse.

Department: Blending

Shift available:

3rd shift (11pm - 7am)

Essential Functions
  • Schedule personnel to meet productionrequirements.
  • Conduct weekly staffmeetings.
  • Conduct periodic health & safety meetings with hourlystaff.
  • Maintain a safe workenvironment.
  • Implement and train staff on scanningsystem.
  • Implement, monitor & enforce company procedures.
  • Monitor GMP’s, plant sanitation andhousekeeping!
  • Complete daily production report
  • Complete daily remote bagger schedule
  • Attend daily productionmeeting.
  • Plan and schedule production
  • Monitor production activities in blending andpackaging.
  • Complete daily pre-op checklist for blending area
  • Complete daily scale check
  • Complete daily security checklist
  • Acting Food Defense Coordinator – conduct food security audits
  • Participate in HACCP relatedmeetings.
  • Participate in Joint Health & Safety committeemeetings.
  • ADT security contact
  • Troubleshoot blending, batching & packagingissues.
  • Monitor productquality.
  • Record employee hours/attendance
  • Monitor HACCP program relating to blending &packaging.
  • Monitor machineefficiency.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance – report to Maintenance department anydeviations.
  • Review and verify employeedocumentation.
  • Ensure proper transfer of completed product from production into warehouselocations.
  • Assist in month-endinventory.
  • Work with Human Resources in regards to employee-related issues
  • Responds to inquiries from customer service & shipping regarding order completion and runschedules.
  • Inventory lot control
  • Contribute to successful audits by corporate, customer, CFIA and other governingbodies.
Non-Essential Functions
  • Performs other activities, special tasks and projects upon requests from managers.

Work Environment
  • Exposure to loud environment, airborne particles with stronger odorsassociated with spicy food ingredients and cold, hot, wet and humid conditions.
  • Walking and standing on concrete for 8 to 12 hours a day, up to 6 days a week. Climbing steps, ladders and working on elevated surfaces.
  • Regularly lifting 50 to 100 lbs.
