Job summary

Newly Weds Foods in Springdale, AR seeks a seasoned supervisor for the Seasoning Department to lead production line operations, ensure policy compliance, and maintain smooth shift performance. You will work with Maintenance, QA, Customer Service and Warehouse to meet customer orders on the 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm).

The role emphasizes safety, HACCP, GMP, and inventory coordination, with tasks including scheduling, meetings, training staff, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a production setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proven ability to plan, troubleshoot, and train staff in safety and quality standards.
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, and sanitation principles.

Responsibilities

• Schedule personnel to meet production requirements.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings.
• Conduct health & safety meetings with hourly staff.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Implement and train staff on scanning system.
• Implement, monitor & enforce company procedures.
• Monitor GMPs, plant sanitation and housekeeping.
• Complete daily production report.
• Attend daily production meeting.
• Plan and schedule production.
• Monitor production activities in blending and packaging.
• Record employee hours/attendance.
• Assist in month-end inventory.
• Responds to inquiries from customer service & shipping.
