Job summary

Lief Labs in Valencia, CA, is seeking a Blending Operator Lead to guide blending operators, coordinate daily priorities, and ensure each batch meets safety and quality standards in a GMP environment.

You will work on a hands-on team with responsibilities spanning equipment setup, process monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives, with opportunities to lead while not directly supervising staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 3–5 years of blending operator experience, with 2 years in lead or supervisory roles.
• Pharma or dietary supplement manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of blending equipment, processes, and quality standards.
• Working knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality-control practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and guide blending operators with constructive feedback.
• Coordinate and prioritize blending work to support production schedules.
• Set up and calibrate blending equipment per procedures.
• Monitor processes and inspect materials for quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with Quality Control/QA to meet regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain production, material usage, and maintenance records.
• Identify and implement process improvements for safety and efficiency.
• Promote safety protocols, including LOTO, in daily work.
• Support development and revision of blending procedures.
• Coordinate with inventory to maintain raw-material availability.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and continuous improvement.
