Job summary

Highline Warren seeks a Blending Supervisor to oversee chemical and lubricant blending, tank hookups, and QC testing. You will train and develop the blending team while ensuring safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement in processes and efficiency.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to procedures, and the ability to manage resources to meet production goals with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent, or two years related experience and/or training.
• Forklift license may be required by Highline Warren Distribution.
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to learn basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Establish and assign team duties to meet production needs and keep records.
• Monitor fluid locations for efficient storage.
• Ensure lab equipment is operated per procedures.
• Inspect products to verify specifications.
• Supervise and coach team; set performance expectations and provide feedback.
• Maintain open relationship with supervisor and discuss important matters.
• Lead and document lean improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and enforce safe practices.
• Demonstrate punctual attendance at the work location.
