Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a Lead Blender in Minden, NV, to train, guide, and support Blenders. This role oversees blending per work order specs, ensures GMP and safety compliance, and supports daily production goals while maintaining quality and accuracy.

You will develop and deliver training, supervise blending operators, coordinate onboarding, and collaborate with QA and Maintenance to keep equipment and processes running smoothly, while upholding our GDP and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Follow SOPs and GMPs to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Train and mentor blending staff to meet production standards.
• Enforce safety, quality policies, and department procedures.
• Operate and maintain blending-related equipment and forklift as needed.
• Document critical processing parameters and batch details.
• Collaborate with QA and Maintenance teams on quality and upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Lead blending operations according to blend instructions and batch formulas.
• Develop and deliver training programs for blending operators.
• Onboard and train new blending team members.
• Coordinate clean-in-place (CIP) and sanitation tasks as required.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure accurate recording of data.
• Maintain GDP, QA, and HACCP requirements across paperwork.
