Job summary

Encore Hospitality in D'Iberville, MS is seeking a Bistro Supervisor to oversee daily bistro operations, supervise staff, manage inventory, and coordinate with kitchen to deliver prompt, courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in hospitality or food and beverage management is a plus.
• 2–3 years supervisory or management experience in food and beverage service; bistro or casual dining preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and manage a team; excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bistro staff including servers, hosts, and bussers; provide training and performance feedback.
• Ensure high-quality guest service and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, service flow, and kitchen coordination.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and manage costs to minimize waste.
• Assist in budgeting and analyze performance metrics for improvements.
• Enforce health, safety and sanitation standards; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Coordinate with other departments and the Bistro Manager for events and menu changes.
• Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance; assist with onboarding and training.
