Job summary

American Girl Retail in Los Angeles seeks a Server to deliver food and beverages and create an outstanding dining experience for Bistro guests. The role reports to the Restaurant Manager and is located at the AG Retail Los Angeles site.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, knowing menu details, handling dietary requests, upselling, and processing checks through InfoGenesis. The position requires physical stamina and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification preferred.
• 1–2 years in high-volume and/or fine dining restaurant experience preferred.
• Banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant computer systems is preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically able.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and inform them about food and beverage options.
• Know menu items and accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Address guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Deliver and check food and beverages, upsell when appropriate, and manage checks in the POS system.
• Follow safety guidelines and sanitation laws.
• Support team with parties, events and store activities.
