Job summary

The American Girl Retail team at Mattel, Inc. is seeking a Server for our Los Angeles location. You will deliver food and beverages, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our Bistro guests while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will greet guests, know the menu, assist with special requests, upsell where appropriate, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment alongside a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification, preferred.
• One to two years of experience in a high volume and/or fine dining restaurant preferred.
• Banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Ease of use with restaurant computer systems preferred.
• Physically demanding position strength, mobility and dexterity needed. You must be able to carry a serving tray/beverage tray and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and share information on menu and events.
• Know menu items and ingredients; suggest options for allergies.
• Address guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Deliver food and beverages, upsell, manage tables, and process checks in InfoGenesis.
• Follow food safety guidelines and health regulations.
• Support the restaurant team with events and storewide projects.
