Job summary

The Bistro Service Bartender at Biltmore greets guests in the Bistro dining areas and provides world-class beverage and food service during their visit. Duties include preparing beverages, processing orders, engaging guests, and coordinating service for assigned area in line with Biltmore standards.

Ideal candidates bring at least 6 months of bartending experience, strong math and mixology skills, and a commitment to outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• to obtain TIPS, ALE and other related training required.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience bartending; ideally 1 year.
• Strong math skills and ability to follow recipes precisely.
• Commitment to delivering world-class guest service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professional demeanor.
• Good organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in a friendly, efficient manner per standards.
• Keep bar and public areas neat, clean, and debris-free at all times.
• Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, maintain positive relations.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure areas are stocked, prepped, and set; assist opening/closing.
• Create alcoholic beverages following approved recipes; prepare espresso drinks.
• Clean and organize back stock areas; manage keg changes and related tasks.
