Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek Birthplace is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time days to manage patient care from admission through discharge. The RN will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, document care, and ensure timely discharge planning in line with unit and hospital policies.

Required are an active Michigan RN license, an Associate degree in Nursing, and BLS certification. A BSN is preferred with an 8-year completion goal; some units may require Critical Care/ALS

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred, must obtain within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Michigan.
• BSN within 8 years of hire (Bronson South Haven specifics).
• BLS certification required; Critical care or ALS may be required for some units.

Responsibilities

• Manages care delivery for patients across length of stay.
• Coordinates care with other professionals and delegates appropriately.
• Documents care and resources used; communicates patient response during tour of duty.
• Supports discharge planning to ensure timely transition for patients.
