Select Specialty Hospital Battle Creek is a critical illness recovery hospital on the 6th floor of Bronson Battle Creek Hospital seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN days or nights. The role offers a pay rate of $53.37 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Flexible scheduling requires a minimum of 4 shifts in a 6-week period. The team provides orientation and opportunities for advancement while delivering compassionate post-ICU care.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS is required at hire.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document using appropriate systems and transcribe orders accurately.
• Interpret labs and telemetry, respond to code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.

Critical Illness Recovery Hospital

Location: Battle Creek, Michigan (6th floor of Bronson Battle Creek Hospital)

Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Dayshift or Nightshift

Hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:30 am

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Pay: $53.37 per hour

( $3.50 shift differentials for nights and $3.50 for weekends )

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned
