Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced QA/QC leader for a full-time traveling role supporting our Advanced Technology Group on a Biotech project. Raleigh, NC project location with extensive QA/QC responsibility and cross-team coordination.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years in construction QA/QC, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office and Turner PM software. Prior biotech/pharma exposure is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum five years' construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of the construction process, means and methods and tolerances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project-specific QA/QC Plan.
• Lead and develop Turner QA/QC staff; perform performance appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and applicable codes; coordinate with owners/architects.
• Conduct testing and inspections; arrange third-party testing and report results.
• Expand QA/QC plan as project progresses and document non-conformities and corrective actions.
