Job summary

SystImmune is seeking a Procurement Specialist Intern to support sourcing and purchasing activities at our Bothell, WA facility. You will assist with vendor management, purchase order processing, cost tracking, and supplier follow-up while gaining hands-on procurement and supply chain experience under supervision.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program related to Accounting/Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Developing negotiation and strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and Supplier Support: research potential suppliers and assist communication with vendors.
• Purchase Orders and Contracts: prepare and process purchase orders per company policies; organize contract documents.
• Cost Management: track procurement spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination: coordinate with inventory and supply chain teams for timely delivery and stock optimization.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: collect and organize data on supplier quality, delivery and cost performance; assist follow-up.
• Compliance and Reporting: follow policies and regulations; maintain purchase and supplier records for audits.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: work with finance, operations, and legal to understand procurement needs; support procurement processes.
• Laboratory Support: assist with washing, rinsing, and drying labware and operating autoclaves per biosafety procedures.
