Job summary

SystImmune, Inc. is hiring a full-time onsite Procurement professional in Bothell, WA. The role focuses on identifying suppliers, negotiating terms, and managing purchase orders to support the company’s biotech operations.

You will collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure compliant procurement and cost-effective sourcing of materials for trials and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, SCM, or related field.
• Experience or coursework in supply chain management or consulting.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of supplier management and contract law is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and develop strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Assess supplier capabilities, negotiate terms, and secure competitive pricing.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure optimal terms for the company.
• Ensure all contracts adhere to legal, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines.
• Track procurement spending and identify areas for process improvements or cost reductions.
• Coordinate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor stock levels and anticipate purchasing needs to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and cost standards.
• Address any performance issues and develop improvement plans where necessary.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with the company’s policies and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and pricing data for audit and reporting purposes.
• Work closely with other departments to understand procurement needs and ensure smooth execution of the procurement process.
• Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices.
