Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC seeks a Pain Territory Business Manager (TBM) to promote JOURNAVX and build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals in acute pain management.

The TBM reports to a Regional Field Leader and partners with PTAMs and payer teams to drive adoption, access, and growth while ensuring compliance across a matrixed field organization. Travel up to 80% is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in biotech sales with a track record in launches.
• Experience engaging with diverse physicians and payers.
• Experience pulling through inpatient formularies and care pathways.
• Strong understanding of territory dynamics and stakeholder networks.
• Proficient IT capabilities including Veeva CRM; comfortable in matrix environments.

Responsibilities

• Establishes meaningful and professional relationships with assigned physicians to promote JOURNAVX.
• Develops and maintains expertise on the product's clinical attributes and educates healthcare professionals on product use in appropriate patients.
• Develops a deep understanding of assigned physicians, territory & market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, and access drivers.
• Implements and maintains strategic territory business plans to identify growth opportunities in hospital settings.
• Drives sales performance and ensures forecasts and budgets are met or exceeded.
• Collaborates with PTAMs, field medical, HEOR, IDN and Payer teams to align plans and initiatives.
• Role models ethics and compliance in all activities.
