Job summary

Belimed Life Science is seeking a National Service Technician to install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on Belimed equipment, at customer sites across the United States. You will work with project management, local service teams and leadership to ensure installations meet specifications and maintenance is scheduled on time.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, 3–5 years of technical support or customer service, and experience with blueprints, CAD drawings, PLC

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 3 - 5 years Technical Support experience or Customer Service experience.
• Experience interpreting and modifying blueprints, technical literature/drawings and CAD drawings.
• Capital equipment installation experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting steam, water and pneumatic process control and PLC systems.
• Experience in Biotech / GMP field is preferred.
• Experience using power/air tools; OSHA 30 Certification in Construction Safety is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical and customer-facing situations.
• Ability to interact with both non-technical customers and technical support staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Must be fluent in standard business software programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit installations, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Provide progress reports and elevate issues to the customer and stakeholders.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with installations and maintenance.
• Attend construction meetings to discuss utilities/space requirements.
• Install Belimed products, including un-crating, setting, leveling and testing.
• Maintain records in SAP/FSM and close out work orders.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Provide on-site engineering in-service to customer teams.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior at customer sites.
• Travel as needed and support on-call emergencies.
