Job summary

Belimed AG is seeking a Service Technician to perform installations, repairs and preventive maintenance of Belimed equipment at customer sites. You will coordinate with project management, local service teams and leadership to ensure high-quality service and on-time maintenance.

The role requires 3–5 years of technical support or customer service experience, the ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings, and willingness to travel up to 40% for field assignments, including nights/weekends as

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 3 - 5 years Technical Support experience or Customer Service experience.
• Experience in interpretation and modification of blueprints, technical literature/drawings and CAD drawings required.
• Capital equipment installation experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting steam, water and pneumatic process control and PLC systems.
• Experience working in the Biotech / GMP field is preferred.
• Experience using power/hand tools; OSHA 30 preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical and customer-facing situations.
• Ability to interact with both non-technical and technical staff at customer sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit installations, repairs and preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Provide progress reports and escalate issues to customers and management when needed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with installations and maintenance activities.
• Guide customers on installation variances from specification and attend meetings as required.
• Install all Belimed products and document all activities in the system.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP/FSM for work performed and service documentation.
• Participate in safety orientation and comply with PPE protocols.
• Provide customers’ support team with initial engineering in-service.
