Job summary

Belimed AG is seeking a Service Technician to install, repair and maintain sterilization equipment at customer sites. You will work with customer contacts, project management and local service teams to ensure on-time, high-quality maintenance and startup testing.

The role requires 3–5 years in technical support or customer service, with ability to read blueprints/CAD drawings and troubleshoot PLC systems. Willingness to travel up to 40% and uphold safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 3-5 years Technical Support or Customer Service experience.
• Experience interpreting and modifying blueprints, technical literature/drawings and CAD drawings.
• Capital equipment installation experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting steam, water and pneumatic process control and PLC systems.
• Experience working in Biotech/GMP field preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification in Construction Safety preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical and customer-facing situations.
• Ability to interact with both non-technical customers and technical support staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit installations, repairs and preventive maintenance working independently with little or no supervision.
• Provide progress reports and communicate issues to customers and management.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with installation, repairs and maintenance.
• Guide customers on installation variances from specifications; attend meetings as needed.
• Install all Belimed products and complete all service documentation and startup checks.
• Maintain records in SAP/FSM and complete work orders with hours.
• Participate in safety trainings and follow PPE protocols.
• Provide initial engineering in-service to customers' support teams.
• Maintain professionalism at customer sites.
• Follow customer policies during all installation activities.
• Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve issues with in-use equipment.
• Log quality issues and communicate resolutions to field.
• Dispatch non-resolved issues to field service.
• Provide high-level technical support to customer technicians.
• Maintain data integrity through service lifecycle.
