Job summary
FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Head of Business Development for Commercial Process Development to lead growth of partnerships and programs from early development through Phase 2 across a global CDMO network. You will shape market strategy, open new territories, and close high-impact deals to accelerate patient therapies and company growth.
The role requires extensive BD leadership in life sciences, strong negotiation, and ability to influence senior leaders across global teams.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of business development experience in biotech/biopharma
- 8+ years of experience managing a sales team
- Experience setting sales targets and driving growth
- Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, relentless, and able to influence senior leaders
Responsibilities
- Prospect and close CDMO business opportunities for FUJIFILM Biotechnologies.
- Develop territory expansion plans aligned with global objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute deals from qualification to close.
- Manage budgets and provide forecasting insights to leadership.
- Represent FUJIFILM Biotechnologies at conferences and build strategic partnerships.
