Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Head of Business Development for Commercial Process Development to drive growth and partnerships across a global CDMO network. You will win and scale early-phase client programs—from cell-line development through pre-clinical manufacturing to Phase 2—and align operations to accelerate timelines.

You will lead a team, shape market strategy, and close high-impact deals with biopharma partners, contributing to therapies that reach patients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Essential experience: 12+ years in business development with strategic planning.
• Essential experience: 8+ years managing a sales team.
• Experience setting sales targets to drive growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
• A strategic, proactive mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and secure new CDMO business opportunities for FUJIFILM Biotechnologies.
• Develop territory expansion plans aligned to global objectives and regional needs.
• Coordinate with legal, operations, marketing, and demand planning to set up programs for success.
• Represent FUJIFILM Biotechnologies at conferences and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
• Manage scope and contractual negotiations in line with organizational goals.
