Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a data analytics professional in the United States to develop advanced methods for analyzing operational data and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders and business development partners.

You will serve as the data-use focal point across multiple projects, guiding partners on product performance and solution improvements while building ETL/ELT pipelines, dashboards, and scalable data products with Databricks, Spark, and Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
Proficiency with SQL Server/SQL/T-SQL.
Hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark, preferably PySpark.
Foundational Python or R for analysis and ML workflows.
Experience with Power BI reports and DAX fundamentals.
Familiarity with NLP and Large Language Models.
Ability to translate mission needs into data requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive insights.
Serve as point of contact for data usage across projects and guide partners on product performance.
Analyze extracted data, identify trends and provide insights on operations and projects.
Develop and implement new metrics, functions, and scripts as KPIs.
Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks.
Create dashboards and analytical products using Power BI with semantic models.
Support low-code solutions by integrating data products into Power Apps and Power Automate.
Document data sources, transformations, assumptions, and methodologies.
