Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5–7 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
• Strong SQL Server/SQL/T-SQL experience with querying, joins, and schemas.
• Hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark experience, preferably PySpark.
• Foundational Python or R skills for analysis and ML workflows.
• Understanding ETL/ELT, data modeling, data quality, and reproducible pipelines.
• Experience building Power BI reports, datasets/semantic models, and DAX basics.
• Familiarity with Power Apps/Power Automate for workflows.
• Basic NLP and Large Language Models familiarity and use cases.
• Able to translate mission needs into data requirements and outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy methods to analyze operational data and derive insights for stakeholders.
• Serve as data analytics contact across projects and guide partners on performance options.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable analyses for operations and projects.
• Implement new metrics and KPIs; code to segment populations from large datasets.
• Create and maintain documentation; develop ad hoc tools for analytics areas.
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks with Spark.
• Develop analysis-ready datasets with data quality, lineage, and repeatability.
• Build dashboards in Power BI with semantic models and measures.
• Support Power Apps and Power Automate integrations; assist with NLP use cases.
• Document data sources, transformations, assumptions, and methodologies.
