Job summary

Maximus is seeking a data analytics professional to develop and deploy advanced methods for analyzing operational data, deriving actionable insights, and supporting business development partners.

You will act as the data contact across projects, design ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks, and build Power BI dashboards to enable readiness analytics for stakeholders in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
• Working knowledge of SQL Server/SQL/T-SQL, including joins and schemas.
• Hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark, preferably PySpark.
• Foundational Python or R for analytics and ML workflows.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, data quality, version control.
• Experience building Power BI reports and datasets.
• Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Basic familiarity with NLP and Large Language Models.
• Ability to translate mission needs into data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to derive actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Serve as point of contact for data usage across projects and guide partners.
• Develop and implement new KPIs and data metrics as needed.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks.
• Create dashboards and semantic models in Power BI.
• Prepare data from multiple sources for reporting and readiness analytics.
• Support team communication and project management activities.
• Explore emerging technologies and contribute to analytics initiatives.
• Document data sources, transformations, and methodologies.
