Job summary

MSD seeks a ProteinXI Technical Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth in Rockville and surrounding BioPharma/CRO accounts. You will own territory strategy, pipeline, and deals with support from Field Application Scientists and Inside Sales.

You will manage complex, cross-functional sales activities, articulate ProteinXI value, and expand MSD’s footprint into new buyer personas with emphasis on translational research and early access programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required.
• 5+ years of experience in technical sales or hybrid commercial roles within life sciences.
• Experience selling platforms or workflows involving NGS, multi-omics, proteomics, or advanced discovery tools preferred.
• Prior experience working with Field Application Scientists and Inside Sales teams required.

Responsibilities

• Own territory revenue targets, pipeline generation, and forecast accuracy.
• Lead deal strategy, pricing discussions, and negotiations with Sales Management.
• Collaborate with FAS and Inside Sales to manage multi-stakeholder sales activities.
• Establish relationships with discovery and translational research leaders and expand MSD footprint.
