10x Genomics Inc in the Northeastern U.S. seeks an energetic Account Executive, BioPharma to lead field sales and new business development across the region, with a heavy focus on the Boston area.

You will act as a consultative partner for Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Transcriptomics, and NGS, translating a strategic territory plan into measurable revenue results while collaborating with customers to address scientific and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or a related scientific field.
• 1–2+ years of commercial, inside sales, or field-based life sciences experience.
• Aggressive, proactive hunter with willingness to learn and be coached.
• Basic familiarity with genomics technologies (scRNA-seq, Spatial Transcriptomics, and/or NGS).
• Willingness to travel frequently in the Northeastern territory.

Responsibilities

• Hunt and close new BioPharma accounts, managing a high-velocity funnel from discovery to close.
• Align scientific and business needs to craft winning proposals.
• Deliver technically rigorous presentations across the genetic analysis portfolio.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on scRNA-seq, Spatial Transcriptomics, and NGS.
• Develop and manage a territory plan to meet revenue goals.
• Forecast revenue, track activities, and maintain pipeline in CRM.
• Support team growth and uphold professional standards in market interactions.
