Job summary
10x Genomics is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead and scale a high-performing team of BioPharma Account Executives across the United States and Canada. You will hire, coach, and develop ambitious sales professionals into elite consultative sellers, while driving strategic market adoption of our genomics solutions.
The role requires deep expertise in Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Transcriptomics, and NGS, with a strong track record in executive engagement and field-based revenue
Qualifications
- Education: BA/BS in Life Sciences or related field.
- 5+ years of successful sales/marketing in Life Sciences, selling Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Transcriptomics, Genomics, or NGS.
- Target Market mastery in Biotech, TechBio, and Small/Mid-Sized Pharma sectors.
- Strong knowledge of AI/computational biology applications and Single Cell/Spatial Transcriptomics in drug discovery.
- Proven coaching track record developing early-to-mid-career sales professionals.
Responsibilities
- Build, coach, and scale a high-velocity sales team; mentor in consultative selling and strategic prospecting.
- Lead executive engagement: partner with AEs to close strategic opportunities with BioPharma C-suite executives.
- Develop and monitor district plans to achieve revenue and strategic objectives across US and Canada.
