Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a driven Technical Application Manager for Pharmaceutical Ingredients to accelerate growth in the Biopharma sector across North America. The role blends technical consulting with business development, promoting product lines and supporting customers through scale-up and transfer.

You will lead a team, travel up to 50%, collaborate with sales and product management, share industry insights, and help implement actions through CRM and training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Biopharma technical experience with proven results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biotech or Life science required.
• Strong knowledge of Biopharma manufacturing processes and R&D drivers.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, develop and close opportunities in Biopharma with R&D and manufacturing teams.
• Provide product recommendations and technical/formulation support.
• Engage accounts at all levels to expand Univar Solutions’ share.
• Collaborate with sales, product management and CRM tools to drive growth.
• Support scale-up and technical transfer of projects and train customers.
