Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in biomedical equipment technology or electronic equipment or equivalent.
• CABT, A+, Certifications preferred.
• Military training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train junior biomedical equipment technicians with in-service educational training on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain compliance on ISO:13485 certification standards/QMP policies.
• Implement KPI improvement strategies.
• Complete all required trainings.
• Analyze, repair, and test electronic and electromechanical equipment.
• Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect complex clinical equipment, instrumentation, and systems.
• Perform planned maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment and monitor outside vendors.

Education

Associate’s Degree in biomedical equipment technology

CABT, A+, Certifications preferred

Military training preferred
